Ikigai (生き甲斐) is a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being.” According to this worldview, everyone has an ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self.

  1. this is so helpful for me right now! i’m currently taking alan’s financial integrity course and really contemplating (as a currently at-home mom) how/what I want to do to step back into the money making world within the next year. this diagram is so helpful for exploring how it’s possible to honor each of these four needs which I hadn’t even realized are underlying that exploration. thank you for creating and sharing this and for all the gems you put out there!
