What we find and discover is guided by what we are asking.
The more conscious and intentional we can be when we ask the questions that guide our day and our life, the better for us and everyone.
The most important question we can ask, is:
What is the most important question?
Thank you Alan for sharing this fundamental point. Stella Strega-Scoz in her Permaculture Science course tells us that a good permaculture designer asks different kinds of questions, asks more questions, questions assumptions, and questions simplistic answers. She says that one reason we are slow in learning sustainability is that we have a tendency to ask limited questions and we don’t question assumptions.
If we keep in mind the most important question you have named, it may go a long way in all of our efforts, personal and planetary.
Thank you, David!
I always appreciate and learn from your perspective.
